What the Community Can Do

Looking for something that you can do to help keep children substance-free? 

Use your influence with the people you know to gain support for Know! and spread these messages:

• Parents can make a difference

• Every child is at risk

• Help is available in our community

• The whole community can empower children to be substance-free

Talk to the children you know to make sure they know you value them and support their positive choices.  If you coach or help out with a youth group, contact us or use the suggestions in our Parent and Caregiver section to connect with the children in your life.

• Encourage businesses you frequent to support Know!.
• If you are an individual, take the Community Supporter Pledge.
• If you are representing a church, civic organization or other community group, take the Community Groups Pledge.
• Contact us if you want to start a Know! workplace, community or school program.
